Revealing the humanity of financial counsel
- Website Design
As a sole practitioner, Lincoln Miller found success in providing big-firm legal expertise, without the overhead and overstaffed costs of a traditional corporate law firm. Active in the fields of family, business, and real estate law, Lincoln planned to shift focus to estate planning and relocate his one-person company from Seattle to Bainbridge Island. Lincoln would encounter a new client base on Bainbridge, with the residents older, more affluent, and expectant of a higher level of sophistication. It was time for his practice to undergo a brand shift, starting with a complete redesign of his website.
To keep his offerings relevant, Lincoln’s site required content to emphasize his pivot to estate law. Rather than look through the conventional lenses of age and assets, Electric Pen focused on human issues that intersect the need for legal advice and financial planning.
We created an intuitive flow of information that was inclusive and engaging. Lincoln’s daughter Peyton, a student at Chapman College, took the photographs used throughout the site. The large-scale images of Bainbridge Island depicted Lincoln Miller as a local business. The refreshed pages communicated trust, professionalism, and expertise. And sense of approachability differentiated Lincoln amongst his competitors.
With messaging that drives a more meaningful connection between attorney and client, we helped Lincoln articulate his value to a new audience. Lincoln continues to grow his practice in the Bainbridge community, giving clients a way to navigate challenging decisions and guiding them compassionately into their financial futures.
